Overview

Matt is a Senior Loan Officer at Bellevue Capital with over 15-years’ experience underwriting and originating commercial real estate debt. Throughout his career, Matt has been involved in over $1B in closed loans across all real estate asset classes with a specialization in multifamily finance.

Matt started his career in commercial real estate underwriting Section 223(f), 221(d)(4) and 223(a)(7) FHA multifamily loans for the Seattle Office of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). After HUD, he spent eight years at Walker & Dunlop underwriting and originating Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD and Life Company loans for their clients. Prior to joining Bellevue Capital Group, Matt spent over two-years at McBride Capital originating construction, bridge and permanent financing from a variety of capital sources, including banks, credit unions, debt funds, life companies and the agencies.

Matt has a BA in economics from Union College and Master of Urban Planning from the University of Washington.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys visiting his family in Maine in the summer, skiing, basketball and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
