David Hernandez graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. After graduation, he served for eight years as an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, leading the planning and execution of more than $108 million in federal infrastructure and military construction projects.

Drawing on his background in engineering, construction, and project execution, David approaches commercial real estate finance from both operational and financing perspectives. His experience managing complex projects and coordinating diverse stakeholders enables him to understand not only how real estate assets are financed but also how they are planned, developed, and operated.

Originally from Houston, Texas, David relocated to the Pacific Northwest after his military service and joined Bellevue Capital Group, where he helps commercial real estate owners and investors secure financing for acquisitions, refinances, and developments.

Outside of work, David enjoys overlanding, camping, and golfing, and he is a watch collector.
