Overview

Jake was born and raised in Kirkland, WA where he has lived the entirety of his life. He has always had a proclivity for mathematics, testing in the 99th percentile throughout his years in school. Jake did not go to college for a degree, choosing instead to learn through experience. He served for years in a restaurant as a cook, bartender, and manager where he excelled and had recipes put on the menu. Following the restaurant industry, he worked in customer service for a very successful sports arena and was promoted to team lead in just a few months. After years in customer service, he began working in sales and it was not long before he was competing regularly for top weekly and monthly sales. He developed a process and method that helped the rest of the team increase their overall sales.

In 2017 Jake joined Bellevue Capital Group at its inception, working with Nick Klein and Faraz Rouhani to learn the ins and outs of commercial financing. He has had a hand in developing the processes that have helped make Bellevue Capital Group a success. With a natural inclination towards problem-solving, mathematics, and processes, he has been a jack of all trades, filling nearly every role before settling in as a credit analyst and underwriter. He underwrites the loans, stressing them in a variety of ways, before putting a presentation together to send out to our lender network. This is followed by working with different lenders, looking at the loan through a variety of lenses, and allowing our loan officers to work with the borrowers to select the best fit for them.

Outside of work, Jake is an avid sports fan, nerd, and gamer. He grew up rooting for the Seahawks and Mariners regardless of how good or bad they were, and the same can now be said for the Sounders and Kraken. He has not watched a single NBA game since the departure of the Sonics. If he’s not watching sports, playing a video game, or watching the latest superhero series, he will most likely be found at a local disc golf course.
